I had my front windshield replaced in summer of 2025, my insurance company had told me personally that I had to pay out of pocket for a new windshield even though I had full coverage, my boss referred me to Mel’s auto glass and I called asking how much it would cost, the lady who answered the phone was amazed that I had to pay and she called my insurance herself and they ended up actually paying for my replacement. If not for the kind woman who answered my call I would have been out of $1k for a new windshield. Thank you!
The guys that came by were beyond great. Professional gentlemen - good at their job. Punctual and quick with the replacement. They were funny and personally too. Have to give them a shout out when shout outs are deserved so this 5⭐️ rating goes to my guys Rob - Micheal B - and Austin. Great job guys! Definitely will be using Mel’s services if I’m ever so “unlucky” to have another windshield crack.
Robin was very helpful. I operate a commercial trucking business, and having a truck down with a broken windshield can negatively affect business. I had scheduled a windshield replacement on Tues evening, and they were able to get us in to replace Weds morning. What really amplified their service, was in the middle of the night Tues, I had another truck get a broken back window. I brought it to the shop along with the other pre-scheduled truck...in hopes that both could get done by the end of the day. Initially, the rear glass was not available, but Robin was able to coordinate with a dealer near by that had the glass in stock. Mel's was able to go pickup the glass, and complete both trucks the same day. Thank you Mel's team. -Bravo 2 Logistics
I have used Mel’s 3 times now for windshield replacements. I live near a rock quarry, and unfortunately end up behind a lot of dump trucks that love to sling gravel. All 3 have been submitted through insurance and they work directly with your insurance so there is hardly anything you have to do. They are super quick to get you in and Bonnie is just an absolute pleasure to speak with. The techs they send are super efficient and professional. I recommend them to anyone who asks. The best part, they come right to you no matter where you’ll be in the tri-state! I have zero complaints and have not had a single issue with any of the replacements. I will choose Mel’s every time, even if I were to need an out-of-pocket service.
A highway rock cracked my windshield on Thursday. They had me in on the following Tuesday. I was in and out in an hour and a half with a brand new OEM windshield and recalibrated. Good as new! Thanks to my insurance, I didn't pay a dime. The staff were all super nice, informative, and easy to work with. Top-notch, would recommend.
Very satisfied with my experience. The girls at the front office are super nice with great service and attentiveness. I had my regulator break 4 times over the past year, and John was the only guy to figure out why it kept breaking and explained to me why. I wish I came to Mel’s sooner. Highly recommend!
